Glass-like substance that can be produced with a colour different to the usual white or black, namely an appealing light green colour, and consists (wt.%) of 55-65 SiO2, 4-10 Al2O3, 0.1-3.0 MnO, a combination of the oxides CaO + NaO2 + MgO + TiO2, and, beyond the 100% wt. limit 0.5-8.0 of F and 0.1-1.0 ZnO. Pref. the vitreous material is produced by heterogeneous treatment of the glass. |
