<p>PURPOSE: To facilitate joinning especially to a coaxial cable connector device, by providing a conductive housing with a shield part protruding into openings in a terminal block between spacedly disposed terminals. CONSTITUTION: A conductive housing 42 is substantially hollow and is made up so as to house a connector for complementary joinning. An integrated plate- shaped shield part 56 protrudes into a housing means 48 of the housing 42 while is equipped with a pair of locking posts 58. A terminal module 44 has a dielectric terminal block 60 and is equipped with a plurality of spaced terminals 62. The block 60 has dimensions allowing itself to be disposed in the housing 42 such that the posts 58 protrude respectively into a pair of locking holes 64 in the block 60 and the plate-shaped shield part 56 penetrates the block 60 and protrudes into a plurality of openings 66. The posts 58 are bakedly attached to the module 44. Sielding between neighboring terminals 62 is performed by the shield part 56 protruding in the openings 66 of the terminal block. Width of the shield part 56 is smaller than that of the openings 66 and air gaps for improving shielding property are formed.</p> |
