Device is for removing threaded castings from a mould having hydraulic mould closure cylinders. A shaft rests in the hollow piston rod of each cylinder and projects by a plug-connection into the movable mould clamping plate. The other end of the shaft is connected by a coupling with the longitudinally movable rotary shaft of a stationary drive. This eliminates the use of unscrewing elements and cogwheels, thus speeding up the removal.
