A nozzle 10 suitable for use in spraying paints, insecticides or washing fluids comprises a flat portion 21 adapted to support a compressible container 23 containing an additive such as a chemical which is injected through a one-way valve 18 into the water &c. stream passing through the central tubular portion 13 of the nozzle when pressure is applied to the container 23. The inlet end 11 of the nozzle is screw threaded for attachment to a pipe and the outlet ]4 is of smaller diameter than the portion 13. The nozzle is formed of inexpensive materials and the container 23 may be provided with a plug (31), fig 6, (not shown) allowing it to be refilled. The nozzle and the container may be of rubber, fibreglass, papier mache or a plastics material. |
