PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide low pressure double glazing which is greatly improved in thermal insulation performance and a process for producing the same. SOLUTION: This low pressure double glazing is formed with a low-pressure space by parting two sheets of the sheet glass at a prescribed spacing, disposing a dotty, wire-shaped or net-like spacer holding this spacing and hermetically sealing the peripheral marginal end of this panel by low melting solder glass.
