PURPOSE:To use the capability of a processor up to its maximum by providing a mother board with a common bus for extension and mounting a processor board together with an extension board. CONSTITUTION:The common bus 4 for extension which makes a communication between a electronic circuit for a processor and an electronic circuit for extension is connected to the connector 2 of the electronic circuit for the processor fitted to the mother board 1, and the electronic circuit for the processor which uses the electronic circuit for extension mounted in an optional connector 2 of the mother board 1 is provided with a means which indicates a connection with the common bus 4 for extension. This means connects the electronic circuit for the processor, processor electronic circuit, and the electronic circuit for extension under its control through the common bus 4 for extension, and the electronic circuit for processor and electronic circuit for extension are both mounted together in the connectors of the electronic circuit for the processor. Consequently, the processor of the electronic circuit for the processor has an electronic circuit for extension extended through the common bus 4 for extension. |
