<p>Bile acid triglyceride absorbing resins. Compsn. containing at least one synthetic, non-toxic enzyme resistant, cross-linked, ionisable amine polymer having a microporous structure, a swelling capacity below 5 ml/g, a water content below 50% (after equilibration at 25 degrees with H2O satd. air), and a particle size of 0.0001-0.5 mm, are of use as bile acid and triglyceride binders and lipase inhibitors. Preferred cpds. are dialkylaminomethyl subst. polystyrenes with 5-20% cross linkage.</p> |
