Method and device for collection lubricating oil from oil mist or a mixture of oil drops and air, and an impeller compressor. The device comprises a body 23, an intake 24 for carrying air-oil mixture from a compressor to the device, and also outlet openings 26, 30; 28 for draining oil and air from the same. The device has at least one striker surface 23, 25 onto which the oil present in the mixture will adhere when the mixture flow strikes the surface. Subsequently, the oil is brought to draining towards the outlet opening 28. <IMAGE>
