PURPOSE:To keep a contact section free from abrasion, and ensure the accurate contact of each contact section. CONSTITUTION:Female and male housings 10 and 20 are respectively fitted with female and male film contacts 20 and 40 in such a way as keeping contact bumps 23 and 43 directed toward the mating housing. In addition, this butt joint connector is constituted so that the contact bumps 23 and 43 of the contacts 20 and 40 are kept in contact with each other, with the housings 10 and 30 coupled to each other. In this case, the female contact bump 43 is formed out of a plurality of bumps laid at equal intervals, and the male contact bump 23 is formed out of a single bump positioned among a plurality of the bumps 42 for contact therewith. |
