PURPOSE:To provide an induction motor controller in which transient loss, as well as steady loss, can be reduced over a wide operating range. CONSTITUTION:The induction motor controller comprises a steady loss minimum flux operating section 11, a target flux operating section 12, a flux response varying section 13, and a target torque operating section 14, in addition to general vector control operating sections 15-17, wherein the torque response can be varied independently from the flux response and the transfer function at the target flux operating section 12 is varied to minimize the transient loss depending on the magnitude of flux. Transient loss is reduced by setting a minimum loss slip frequency omegase-opt for steady operation and setting a flux response for minimizing the transient loss for transient operation. |
