<p>The socket is intended for low voltage, high power fuses, whose blades are to be retained in the socket clamps. The latter are protected against dangerous touch by caps (4). The latter are bevelled in relation to the ideal base plane of the socket (1). The bevel edge (6) extends at right angles to a plane containing the blade contact (3). The protective caps (4) have ventilation slots on the side facing the fuse cartridge and on both adjacent side. Preferably the caps have latches engaging beyond the springs of retaining contact (2), the latter being fitted with guide ribs. The ventilation slots may be formed laterally to an aperture for the contact blades.</p> |
