<p>The horn button, or pad (6) is located on the steering wheel spokes by three double looped springs (7). Each spring has one end clipped to the underside of moulded stubs (11) under the button, while the other end is located in recesses (13) in the spokes, as a clip on fitting. The springs form the electric contacts for the horn so that the button can be pressed from any angle and with any setting of the steering wheel.</p> |
