<p>PURPOSE:To cut operation cost, by use of filtrate obtained through water extraction of prescribed dust for a portion of alkali soln. so as to decrease consumption of alkali absorbing soln. CONSTITUTION:Waste gas generated in an incineration furnace 1 is led to a cyclone 2, where dust contained in the gas is separated and is released through a discharge line 3 to the outside of the system. The waste gas liberated from the dust is introduced into a reaction tower 4, where it contacts with alkali soln. sprayed through a spray nozzle 5. Hereby, acidic gas, e.g., chlorine, hydrogen chloride, is changed to dust simultaneously when the gas is cooled. The exhaust gas is then passed into an electric precipitator 6, where it is liberated from the dust, hereafter it is released through a stack 9 to the air. The dust collected at the bottom of the precipitator 6 is withdrawn through valves 7 and is led to an extraction tank 15, where its alkaline component is extracted and is used as a portion of the alkali soln. which is used in reaction tower. The dust obtained from the waste gas before it comes into contact with alkali soln. may be extracted with water to form alkali soln., which may be used for a portion of the alkali soln. used in the reaction tower 4.</p> |
