PURPOSE:To produce a diaphragm for speakers having high heat resistance, superior size effect and further moderate internal loss by sheeting cationic water-containing silica magnesium fibers. CONSTITUTION:Pulp fibers 2 being natural fibers, heat-resisting resin fibers or metal fibers 3 and cationic water-containing silica magnesium fibers 4 are mixed together with a sizing agent and the mixture is sheeted, whereby a diaphragm 1 for speakers is formed. The fibers 4, which have uniform fiber lengths and fiber diameters and yet a wide surface area and have intrinsic positive charges of surface layers in water of pH 4 to 9.4, are attracted by the fibers 2 showing negative charges. And yet, the improvement of more than 50% in size effect may be achieved by the combination use with the resin sizing agent. |
