PURPOSE:To easily prepare materials by forming the required number of images on the second sheets made of a plain sheet when an image is formed on the first sheet made of an OHP sheet or the like and a sheet of a different kind such as a guard sheet is added to the first sheet. CONSTITUTION:When a print key is operated, guard sheets are extracted from sheet feed cassettes 21, 22 and fed to a sorter 2 via a sheet conveyance path 20 and a sheet discharge passage 14 while no image is formed. A transfer sheet (OHP sheet) set in a manual insertion sheet feed tray 23 is fed to a photoreceptor drum 41, the copied OHP sheet is discharged to a non-sort bin TN, the OHP sheet is discharged on the guard sheet already discharged on the bin TN, and the guard sheet is added on the back face side of the OHP sheet. A document is copied on plain sheets, and the copied plain sheets are discharged to sort bins T1-Tm in sequence when a sorter controller is controlled by the controller of a copying machine. |
