The invention relates to a corrosion-resistant (stainless) steel that comprises carbon, silicon, manganese, nickel, chromium, molybdenum, phosphorus, sulphur, iron, titanium, oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, lanthanum and yttrium in the following amounts: 0.06-0.08 wt-% of carbon, 0.1-0.3 wt-% of silicon, 0.8-1.5 wt-% of manganese, 16-18 wt-% of chromium, 9-11 wt-% of nickel, 2- 3 wt-% of molybdenum, 0.5-0.8 wt-% of titanium, 0.015- 0.02 wt-% of phosphorus, 0.001-0.003 wt-% of sulphur, 0.002-0.003 wt-% of oxygen, 0.002-0.004 wt-% of nitrogen, 0.0005-0.001 wt-% of hydrogen, 0.023-0.026 wt-% of lanthanum and 0.022-0.025 wt-% of yttrium, the rest being iron. |
