PURPOSE:To elevate the housing capacity of a ribbon by reciprocating the ribbon carried on an oscillatory plate having a contact section which an eccentric cam provided on a rotating shaft contacts to house it even in a cassette. CONSTITUTION:A rotating shaft rotates through a connecting member with the rotation of a drive shaft of a printer body to turn an eccentric cam 18. An oscillatory plate 22 reciprocates in the direction of the arrow P or opposite to the arrow P over the surface of the bottom wall 1b carrying a ribbon R as folded. A plurality of projections 7 provided on the inner surfaces of both side walls 5 and 6 of a body section allows the ribbon R to be transferred sequentially to the side of a partition 8 with the reciprocation of the oscillatory plate 22. Thus, the ribbon can be always housed evenly in a ribbon housing chamber 4. |
