TONER FOR DEVELOPING ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE

PURPOSE:To improve the fixability of a toner for developing an electrostatic charge image and to obtain a high-density clear image by using a mixture of coarse-grained carbon black with fine-grained carbon black as carbon black contained in the toner. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of coarse-grained carbon black with fine-grained carbon black is used as carbon black contained in a toner for development. The carbon black mixture has two peaks on the grain size distribution curve. The peaks are preferably present in the range of 5-30mmu and the range of 10- 50mmu. The preferred amount of the carbon black mixture to be contained in the toner is 0.1-30wt%.
