PURPOSE:To prevent a discharge lamp from being half-wave discharged and turned-off by setting a prescribed time, in which a lighting mode is switched from full-lighting to lighting, to be an enough length. CONSTITUTION:A human body touches a touch plate TP1 and a touch detecting signal is generated from a touch detecting circuit TS1. Then, each time the touch detecting signal is inputted to a switching circuit TC1, the lighting mode is cyclicly switched in the order of the full-lighting, lighting and turning-off. In such a case, the prescribed time, in which the lighting mode is switched from the full-lighting to lighting, in a re-input prohibiting circuit KS1 is set to the length enough for preventing a discharge lamp FL from being half-wave discharged and turned-off at the time of the lighting. Thus, even when the lighting mode is immediately switched from the turning-off through full-lighting to lighting, the discharge lamp FL can be prevented from being half-wave discharged and turned-off at the time of lighting. |
