The sunshade for windows or doors, in particular inclined roof windows, is composed of a flexible web (1), preferably made of plastic, with a fastening rod (14) arranged therein in the upper and lower web end and a number of, preferably four, holders (4/5) which can be fastened in the window casement by screwing, nailing, adhesive bonding, insertion, suspension or the like and receive the web (1) with its fastening rods (14), suspended under a given tension on the outside of the window. It is preferable to provide in each case at the top and at the bottom two holders (4, 5) which have a fastening part (4a, 5a) and a suspension eye (4b, 5b) formed thereon, the web-fastening rods (14) preferably being received positively in the suspension eyes (4b, 5b). This sunshade consists of a few, simply constructed individual parts which can be manufactured economically and last permanently, and can be arranged on a window or a door by any layperson with a few handling operations and results in a high service value. <IMAGE>
