The invention relates to a dough mixing and kneading machine with a container (11) on the side walls (16, 17) of which a stirring shaft (13) provided with stirring arms (14, 15) and a discharging device (12) for the dough, which takes the form of a worm conveyor, are mounted. To improve the dough machine, two stirring arms (14, 15) are in each case moulded on a bush (25, 26 etc.), opposite one another. The bushes (25, 26 etc.) are pushed onto a spindle (24), to which they are connected in a positively-locking and rotationally fixed fashion by means of keying. The transition from the outer surface of the bushes to the individual stirring arms (14, 15) is in this case designed with large radii. The stirring shaft (13) is rotatably mounted outside the container in a ball bearing (43, 44; 75). It can be rotatably connected to the worm conveyor shaft (12) by means of a toothed belt (23). <IMAGE>
