A photographic cassette for standard photographs, injection-moulded from plastic, is characterised in that it has a lower part 10 and an upper part 26 pivotably articulated thereon by means of a pivot apparatus 44, 81 and in that the upper part has a transparent window (54) of organic glass. Photographic prints are protectively stored therein and not scratched on extraction, virtually the complete format of the topmost picture is visible, and the photographic cassette can be produced so economically that its costs bear an acceptable relationship to the price of the pictures to be packed therein. <IMAGE>
