CONSTITUTION:This implantation material for microorganism for purification is a block made by cutting the fruit of palm after pressing approximately perpendicular to the direction of fiber orientation, 0.001-2.00wt.% in tannin content in the standard sample allowed to stand at 20 deg.C in 50% relative humidity for 3 days and 0.15-1.0wt.% in iron component expressed in terms of Fe2O3 and is capable of proliferating the microorganism for purification to remove the contaminant by allowing the block to continuously contact with the air or water.</p>
