PURPOSE:To provide the automatic playing device which can generate a sound without losing characteristics of a voice at the time of recording. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 5 once reading a syllable parameter number PTNO out of a musical performance data memory 10 refers to a syllable parameter table 9, and reads out and supplies a consonant parameter group and a vowel parameter group of the syllable corresponding to the syllable parameter number PTNO to a sound source circuit 7. The sound source circuit 7 controls the center frequency, etc., of the formant of the syllable to be generated on the basis of the consonant parameter group and vowel parameter group. Further, the CPU 5 supplies a key code and a key-ON signal, read out of the musical performance data memory 10, to the sound source circuit 7, which controls the pitch on the basis of the key code and generates a sound signal at timing that timing data indicates. |
