In a circuit for a number of interconnected control units, the alarm timing and mutual timing of the various operating programmes of the control units is achieved by lines between the control units, which, by means of a common key switch having a number of operating positions, are provided with a switching pulse for a short time and which have a storage logic in which this switching signal is permanently retained until another line receives a corresponding switching signal. In this case, the previously existing switching signal is cancelled.
