PURPOSE:To construct the foundation of pile without noise by a method in which a precast pile having a shoe on its lower end is driven into an excavated pit, and the shoe is struck by a drop hammer inserted into the hollow of the pile to penetrate the pile to a given depth. CONSTITUTION:A precast pile 16 with a shoe 18 is penetrated into a pit 12 filled with a self-hardening stabilizer liquid, and a drop hammer 34 is inserted into the hollow of the pile 16. The shoe 18 is struck by the hammer 34 to lower it relatively to the pile 16 and then to penetrate it into the bottom ground of the pile 16. Afterwards, the hammer 34 is removed and cement mortar is packed into the central part of the pile 16. The pile foundation can thus be constructed without vibration and noise.
