PURPOSE:To obtain an antifungal and dehumidifying agent, having sufficient antifungal effects, capable of reducing organoleptic feeling caused by moisture and informing the duration period of the effects at a glance with hardly any offensive smell, by combining an inorganic moisture absorbent with an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid ester. CONSTITUTION:An antifungal dehumidifying agent obtained by combining one or two or more inorganic moisture absorbents selected from calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, ferric chloride, zinc chloride and nickel chloride with one or two or more unsaturated dicarboxylic acid esters selected from maleic acid esters, fumaric acid esters and itaconic acid esters. The particle size of the inorganic moisture absorbents is preferably 0.1-30mm, particularly 1-10mm. The inorganic moisture absorbents and unsaturated dicarboxylic acid esters may be separately put in containers, but the inorganic moisture absorbents permeated with the unsaturated dicarboxylic acid esters may be used.
