摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a superconducting wire with excellent characteristic by mixing plural metallic elements made of superfines under the specific stoichiometric composition, stuffing them into a pipe made of a superconducting stabilizing material, making them to be drawn in a fine wire, and subjected to heat treatment so that the raw material can be put in reaction. CONSTITUTION:Metallic elements A (Nb, V, etc.) and B (Al, Ge, Si, Ga, Sn, etc.) consisting of fines whose grain sizes are under 1,000Angstrom are mixed together by adding C2H5OH and applying ultrasonic vibration to each of them, then ultrasonic vibration is applied to them after mixing the two liquids together so as to uniformly disperse them and C2H5OH is eliminated by evaporation. A filament 3 is formed by densely stuffing a copper pipe 2 with the mixed metallic elements while hydro-reduction being applied, and a filament 5 is formed by stuffing a copper pipe with several pieces of filaments 3 again. When a filament is processed at 600-1,050 deg.C after being drawn in a fine wire, it reacts uniformly with good reactivity, so that a superconducting wire with excellent high critical magnetic field density and high critical current density etc. can be obtained. The combination of elements A and B is actually Nb3Al, Nb3Ge, etc. Quick heating and cooling are effective for reaction of Nb3Al.
