PURPOSE:To increase the transfer speed of a plate stock and to elevate working efficiency by providing the primary side of a linear induction motor transferring the plate stock in XY direction to a table and moving a clamping device by the linear pulse motor in X direction and Y direction. CONSTITUTION:The plate stock fed to a plate stock supporting table 15 is subjected to the positioning in Y direction and X direction by Y direction linear induction motor 21 and X direction linear induction motor 19 and abutted against clamping devices 45, 47. The position in the Y direction of the clamping devices 45 and 47 is decided in advance corresponding to the size of a work plate stock and the movement to the position thereof can easily be performed by energizing to the primary sides 39, 41 of the linear pulse motor 35. The plate stock abutted against the clamping devices 45, 47 is held by the clamping device, positioned just under a strikor by the NC control, etc., of the Y direction linear pulse motor 35 and X direction linear pulse motor 23 and subjected to a punching. |
