PURPOSE:To improve the dispersion stability of a coating solution, and the improve the optical sensitivity, the red color reproducibility and the repeating stability of the titled body by providing with a photosensitive layer contg. a specific azo compd. on a conductive supporting body. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer contg. the azo compd. shown by the formula is provided on the conductive supporting body. In the formula, R is a hydrocarbon group which may be substituted, A is alkyl, hydroxyalkyl alkoxyalkyl, aryl aralkyl or a heterocyclic ring group Ar is an aromatic hydrocarbon group or a heterocyclic ring group which may bind with each other through a binding group, (n) is an integer of 1, 2, 3, or 4. And A is preferably alkyl group such as methyl or ethyl group, or hydroxymethyl group, etc. in the characteristics of the titled body such as the sensitivity, the spectral sensitivity and the repeating stability, etc. Thus, the titled body has the high sensitivity, and as the spectral sensitivity of the bisazo pigment is near to the relative luminous efficiency, the red reproducibility of the body is improved. |
