The present invention refers to a hygienic absorbent article (1) containing a permeable layer (2), an absorbent nucleus (3) and an impermeable lining (4). The layer (2) is made from non-woven fabric, which permits the rapid passage of the body fluids, that are absorbed by the absorbent nucleus (3) and retained by the impermeable lining (4). The lining (4) and the layer (2) are sealed, forming a surface edge (6), the nucleus (3) being enclosed within the internal space of the edge (6). In the lining (4) a fold (9) is foreseen, limited by the folding lines (10) which form recesses (11). The fold (9) permits the expansion of the nucleus (3) in a direction away from the user's body, as the nucleus receives the body fluids. |
