PURPOSE:To eliminate hazard such as electrical shock, fire, etc., by coupling a pressure sensitive switch a spring furnished at a plug part, and arranging this switch to work interlocked with a power supply switch circuit via a switch control circuit. CONSTITUTION:Pressure sensitive switches 10, 10' are coupled with springs 3, 3' in a plug of a double base type HID lamp to perform and re-start by impressing a high voltage pulses over 4kV. These pressure sensitive switches 10, 10' judge whether these is a lamp 1, and switch is actuated only when there is lamp 1 to turn on power supply switches 7, 7', and is lamp 1 is away, no high voltage pulses shall be generated. When the double base lamp 1 is removed from the plug part, therefore, the power supply circuit is shut off automatically even though the power supply switches 7, 7' are on, which eliminates hazard such as electric shock, fire, etc. |
