PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of unequal images by applying an image forming solvent to a heating drum in a 10-20g/m<2> range while rotating the drum and executing heat development and transfer in a 60-95 deg.C range. CONSTITUTION:The image forming solvent supplied between a photosensitive material 20 and a dye fixing material 22 in a heat development system having a drum type heating section 80 is used for acceleration of development and/or the transfer of diffusive dyes to a dye fixing layer and has the effect of assisting the tight contact of the photosensitive sheet 20 and a dye fixing sheet 22 and to prevent the exfoliation between the two sheets 20 and 22 during the heat development and transfer stage. The quantity of the image forming solvent to be applied is specified to the 10-20g/m<2> range in this case. The processing at the time of the heat development and transfer is adequately executed at 60-95 deg.C, more preferably 70-90 deg.C heating temp. The generation of the unequal images is prevented in this way. |
