<p>A mixing valve housing (1) containing two separate inlet chambers (5, 7) and a plurality of valve units (25) which are individually operated from remote positions provides mixed fluid through outlet lines (13) from the individual valve units (25) to destinations remote from the valve housing (1). An optional flow equalizing apparatus (39) provides balance in the amount of flow from the inlet chambers (5, 7) to each valve unit outlet. The valve units have alternative mechanical systems (7) that can be operated using commercial power source or utilize inlet fluid pressure for operation. By connecting the mixing valve housing (1) to a pair of centrally located, pressurized headers the need for constant pressure in delivery conduits throughout a structure is eliminated.</p> |
