PURPOSE:To reduce transmission data except for information data and to realize effective communication by synthesizing data showing the length of transmission data with an error detection code. CONSTITUTION:The sum of information data A for respective words is calculated with an adder 1, and the error detection code is formed. At that time, information data A are given to the adder 1 for respective words and at the same time, they are given to a transmitter 4, as well. Then, synthesized data of the formed error detection code and data packet length data B is given to the transmitter 4, and the processing of a transmission-side is terminated. On a reception-side, the sum of the data packets for respective words is calculated in an adder 7, and it is compared with the length of the data packet calculated in a computer 8. When they coincide, the length data B of the data packet is outputted. When they do not coincide, error generation information C is outputted and the processing of the reception-side is terminated. |
