The material choice is focussed on gap corrosion resistance between link gaps and on the chain links themselves. In the prodn. of the links and the welding procedure, welding occurs in a fixture eliminating springing out of the strong material and the separately produced links or link parts are welded together at one or two points. Welding occurs with protective gas and/or separate after-treatments are used. |
