The filling appts. for a water vapouriser (4) in an electrically heated oven (2) consists of a drawer (6) disposed in the vicinity of the oven control panel. The drawer may be connected to a remotely-located water tank via a pipe (5). The drawer may consist of a container axially rotatable about its axis, the drawer being coupled to the control knob of a clock. The drawer may be cylindrical and may have filling and emptying cut-outs at its ends. The front of the drawer may have a hand grip and markings indicating its position. The grip may extend over half the circumference of the cylinder. Release of water may be effected by the time clock at a predetermined time.
