The washer liq. reservoir has a recess (6) in one side to take the pump set, contg. an electric motor and a centrifugal pump complete with an intake pipe (10) and outlet duct. The intake pipe is a vertical extension under the pump and is set into a hole in the reservoir via a sealing plug (14). The intake pipe has a central rotating insert, which slightly protrudes from the pipe, with the water intake aided by two lateral slots (19). The whole intake pipe is protected by a cylindrical mesh (21) which is clipped into the sealing plug.
