The invention relates to production of a refractory material by its thermal treatment in the regime of burning an exothermic mixture composed of the following ingredients in per cent by weight: reducer 6-20, oxydizer 20-70, filler up to 100 [the balance]. The reducer is a metal chosen from the group: magnesium, aluminium, zirconium, silicon, titanium or their alloys; the oxydizer is, whether taken alone or in a mixture raw dolomite, chromite, sulphate and a carbonate of a metal chosen from the group: magnesium, calcium, strontium, barium, zinc, aluminium; and the filler is, whether taken alone or in a mixture, periclase, chromite, refractory waste, refractory oxide, a carbon-containing component, carbide and a nitride of a metal chosen from the group: aluminium, silicon, titanium. The mixture is recommended to be used together with water. |
