The method and apparatus integrally sets lengths of the threads wound around a number of winder bobbins at predefined values in individual block, so that it can minimize equipment size and make maintenance easy. The apparatus comprises an integral controller (7) including a proximity sensor (1), a key pad (2), an input means (3), an LCD display (4), and a microprocessor (6) making its interface IC (5) connected to an I/O port; a thread disconnection sensor (8); a solenoid (9) for lifting the bobbin; one lamp (10) for displaying a full state of the bobbin; the other lamp (11) for displaying a thread disconnection state; a reset switch (12); a remote control box (15).
