<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a deinking agent providing deinked pulp having high b value and a small amount of unreleased ink in deinking old paper such as newspaper, magazine, etc., by flotation method, containing a specific ester compound as an essential component. CONSTITUTION:The deinking agent comprising a compound shown by the formula (R1 is rosin skeleton; R2 is rosin skeleton or 1-23C alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, etc.; AO is 2-4C alkylene oxide; n is 1-200), for example, obtained by adding an alkylene oxide to rosin in the presence of an alkali catalyst and then dehydrating the adduct with an equimolar amount of rosin in the presence of stannous chloride as a catalyst, as an essential component and a conventional deinking agent such as higher alcohol sulfate.</p> |
