PURPOSE:To provide a composite perovskite type porcelain compsn. of a Pb system with which sintered compacts having desired compsns. are stably obtainable. CONSTITUTION:This process is for production of the composite perovskite type porcelain compsn. of the Pb system having a first site composed of Pb or an atom formed by substituting the Pb or a part of the Pb and a second site composed of the plural atoms exclusive of Pb. The raw material compsn. is prepd. by excessively compounding a Pb oxide in such a manner that a molar ratio A/B attains a desired value or above when the total molar number of the atom constituting the first site is defined as A and the total molar number of the atoms constituting the second site as B. Plural kinds of candidate compsns. are prepd. by adding the atoms constituting the second site by different amts. to the raw material compsn. Plural kinds of the resulted candidate compsns. are fired and the characteristics of plural kinds of the sintered compacts obtd. in such a manner are measured. The atoms constituting the second site are added in the form of the oxide to the raw material compsn. by the amt. of the addition of the atoms constituting the second site in the candidate compsn. with which the sintered compact confirmed to have the desired characteristics by this measurement is obtd. in accordance with the amt. of the addition described above. |
