PURPOSE:To provide an optical reading pressure-sensitive copying sheet adapted to optical reading a color developed image such as a character, a numeric character, a bar code, etc. CONSTITUTION:An optical reading pressure-sensitive copying sheet comprises a developer layer containing electron accepting color producing reagent, pigment and adhesive and provided on a support in such a manner that a color developed layer by reaction of the developer with the reagent can be read by an optical reader, as the pigment, at least light calcium carbonate and kaolin are employed and weighted average value of the entire pigment by JIS K 5101 is set to 30ml/100g or more. Preferably, the carbonate is aragonite columnar calcium carbonate to contain 10-90wt.% of the entire pigment, and the kaolin is contained by 10-50wt.% of the entire pigment. Further, the developer is specific salicylic acid developer. |
