PURPOSE: To improve a clutch function by providing a feeding device separately displacing a casing side supporting member from a casing in relation to abrasion between a cover and a diaphragm spring and applying a supporting force action to the diaphragm spring. CONSTITUTION: A diaphragm spring 4 generating pressure fitting force is strained between a casing 2 and a pressure plate 3, and on one side, the spring 4 can be turned around rotational supporting parts 11, 12 supported by a casing 2, while on the other side, the pressure plate 3 is loaded toward a clutch disc 8, which can be fastened between the pressure plate 3 and a corresponding pressure receiving plate 6. The spring 4 compensating abrasion of a friction lining 7 in the clutch disc 8 in the rotational supporting parts 11, 12 is fed by a feeding mechanism 26 and can be displaced axially by means of a post- adjustment device 16 working between a cover and the spring 4. In addition, the spring 4 receives a supporting force action toward the rotational supporting parts 11, 12. In this way, high clutch pressing force can be provided. |
