<p>A cryostabilizer system (10) for cryostabilizing a high temperature superconductor system. The cryostabilizer system (10) includes a microchannel coolant structure coupled to the cryostabilizer device (10) and superconductor (12) with cryogenic fluid (22) passed through a plurality of microchannels (20) forming the microchannel system. By reducing the coolant channel size the high temperature superconductor (12) can be stabilized to avoid isolation of thermal spikes and dissipating any such thermal anomalies allowing minimization of stabilizer material and increase of current flow levels.</p> |
