<p>What is described is a device for monitoring the closing operation of a motor-driven window pane (1), especially a motor-vehicle window pane, with a transmitter (2) and a receiver (3) for electromagnetic radiation and with at least one light-deflecting means (4) which guides the electromagnetic radiation from the transmitter (2) to the receiver (3), in which device the drive of the window pane (1) is stopped or reversed when, during the operation to close the window, the radiation intensity received by the receiver (3) changes, the light-deflecting means (4) being arranged along at least portions of the upper edge region of the window aperture (5). <IMAGE></p> |
