摘要

PURPOSE: To provide an interferrometer semiconductor laser which reduces a coupling loss and further has no adverse effect upon the filtering function of laser. CONSTITUTION: Plural independently controllable segments 1-4 and a coupling segment 2 connected to plural segments are provided and further, an additional optical output segment (z) is provided while being terminated at a terminal part on the opposite side of coupling segment 2 by a terminating part connected to the coupling segment 2 practically with no reflection. This optical output segment (z) can be monolithically integrated with a following photoelectronic component or wavelength converter as well.
