The apparatus prootects electric parts or devices at the time of the abnormal voltage occurrence by detecting the abnormal state, and spontaneously driving a simple digital circuit. The digital circuit comprises a voltage detector (50) detecting a voltage of a commercial power source; the abnormal voltage detector (60) comparing the detected voltage with a reference voltage, and generating a normal or abnormal state signal; a microprocessor (70) controlling a electric load based on the normal or abnormal state signal from the detector (60).
