<p>The invention relates to a mould compensating plate and a continuously operating double belt press for producing material webs or a discontinuously operating single- or multi-daylight press for producing sectional materials. In the press frame of the double-belt press or on the press plates of the multi-daylight press there are arranged mould-compensating plates. The mould-compensating plate has two metal plates arranged parallel to one another and at a distance from one another, on the edge of which there is attached an annularly surrounding elastic bellows which serves as a lateral seal.
