PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus, for a vehicle, by which whether priority is to be given to a general road or to a toll road can be set properly and reasonably when a route is searched. SOLUTION: In a navigation apparatus for a vehicle, a general-road priority mode or a toll-road priority mode is selected in advance, a route is searches by the selected mode, the guidance of the route is performed on the basis of the searched route, a route is searched again when the vehicle is run so as to be deviated from the route, and the route is searched newly. In the navigation apparatus, the route is searched in the geneal-road priority mode, and the vehicle is run on a toll road so as to be deviated from the route during the guidance of the route. In this case, a toll-road-priority ON touch button 56 is operated in the general-road priority mode so as to be changed over to the toll-road priority mode 55, and the route is serached again by giving priority to the toll road. |
